Two Men Kissing Drives People Wild…
A picture of two men kissing on the front page of the Washington Post has caused a minor furore. There is a link to that offending picture, below, but be warned in advance that it is graphic, explicit, and not well colour-coordinated. The complaints ranged from the usual we don’t want this faggot lifestyle forced down our throats to this makes me want to vomit to why couldn’t it have been on page 4, not the front page? I am equally stunned, shocked, and amazed, but for different reasons. Primarily, wondering when will this last gasp of hate-filled bigotry finally fade away? Two men. A little kiss. No offence. Let go of your hate, people. You will grow old and miserable and waste an awful lot of joy by getting all worked up about nothing. We need to see more men kissing in public, not less, just as we see loving straight couples openly showing their affection for each other…

I don’t seem to recall anyone being up set the first time they showed a picture of two men kissing. Most people don”t know about it today, but in the silent movie : Wings staring Buddy Rodgers, He kissed his dying WW1 Comrad in a verry tender kiss that filled the theator with tears. The movie was made in 1927.
Thanks for that. It’s always reassuring to know that we can accept positive emotionality between men. Well, at least most of us can!
